Life-Sized Monopoly - An Immersive Experience - Vanderbilt Hall NYC

Visit Atlantic City is taking over Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal with a life-sized Monopoly activation, bringing the excitement of the world’s favorite board game to New York City from Oct. 2 - 4, 2026. Developed under license by Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, the three-day experiential pop-up invites locals and visitors alike to step directly onto a fully walkable game board and explore Atlantic City’s attractions and experiences through interactive play. The activation brings Visit Atlantic City’s Land on Fun campaign to life, giving visitors a playful preview of the experiences, entertainment and attractions awaiting them in the destination famously known as America’s Playground. Visitors will enter a life-sized Monopoly experience inspired by Atlantic City, complete with oversized dice, destination-themed game pieces and board spaces highlighting everything from the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk and world-class casino resorts to top-tier culinary offerings, entertainment, arts and attractions. Mr. Monopoly himself will also make a special appearance, giving guests the chance to meet the iconic character and snap a photo. As they move through the experience, players can pose for interactive photo moments, enter giveaways and compete for Atlantic City-themed prizes, including branded merchandise and salt water taffy, the iconic Boardwalk treat with roots in Atlantic City. For an extra sweet surprise, the first player to receive the golden taffy hidden in their bag will win an Atlantic City Grand Prize Getaway Package!
